Bisma is a graduate of University of Toronto with a post grad in Human Resource Management. She brings vast experience working with underprivileged youth and elderly populations with physical, intellectual and developmental disabilities. Bisma has gravitated towards opportunities promoting civil rights along with the pursuit of social, political, and educational justice. Always advocating for the experience of inclusion and diversity. Bisma believes if we see all people as global citizens we can better humanity one person at a time.

A native of Rawalpindi and a graduate of Bahria College, University of Toronto and University of Washington, Baber has 20+ years of progressive engineering management & leadership experience with expertise in delivering highly visible products and strategic business opportunities.

Over his tenure Baber has helped deliver key products to market including Nvidia’s cloud gaming service GeForce Now (GFN), Nvidia Shield, Microsoft Xbox One, Groupon Goods, Xbox 360, Microsoft:Yahoo! Alliance, CNBC & MSN Money Financial Portals, SQL Server 2005, and Hotmail back in the day.

Baber is a recipient of multiple patents, highly selected awards and academic scholarships, and is the founding member of The Data Institute, Pakistan. He is currently serving as the Vice President of Engineering at Careem.

Fahad, originally from Lucknow and a graduate of Aligarh Muslim University, is committed to promoting science and technology in underprivileged communities in South Asia. Fahad is a believer that education and opportunity alone will bring peace and prosperity in the region. He has held leadership positions at various Startups and Fortune 500 companies including Grove Collaborative, Amazon, Salesforce and Expedia, where he led initiatives in the space of data science and analytics.

Sonia lives in the greater Seattle area with her husband and two children. She has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and an MBA. She has worked in Finance and Marketing and is currently enjoying her most important role as a full time mother. Sonia is passionate about supporting organizations that promote education in developing nations and those committed to social justice.

Danial is currently a student attending California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) for Computer Science. Danial is committed to connecting today’s youth to Computer Engineering and Data sciences in underprivileged areas. His experiences in the private sector encouraged him to spread out and get involved in non-profit organizations at a young age.

Todd earned his MBA from the University of Washington in 2009. He has worked in the technology industry for over a decade. Since 2015 he has been a consultant working with Fortune 500 companies such as Microsoft and Adobe. Todd has built teams and provided strategic guidance for clients in security focused operations. He was first introduced to machine learning capabilities while working on initiatives for software piracy detection.

Nauman has worked in the healthcare insurance and consulting field for over 16 years. His experience in healthcare and passion for the nonprofit sector led him to join the Board of Hamdard Clinic as their Treasurer in Chicago, IL. Along with healthcare, he shares a passion in promoting the actuarial profession and data analytics in developing nations.
Nauman has a BSc. In Actuarial Science and Financial Economics from the University of Toronto and holds a Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) and is a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA). He currently serves as a Vice-President at AON PLC, a leading financial risk-mitigation and reinsurance company.

An award-winning visionary educationist, Zareen Kamran has countless accomplishments in academia spanning over 25 years. A postgraduate in Education Planning and Management, Zareen has trained over 3000 educators and administrators across Pakistan over her tenure.

As an Educationist, she strives to prepare and motivate students for a rapidly changing world by instilling in them the 21st Century skills and a global perspective. A recipient of Intel Corp.’s Education Award, she has been associated with many prestigious institutions of Pakistan. She has administered outstanding academic results for over a decade and strives for a culture of academic excellence and progressive learning. As a member of the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan, she believes in democratizing technologies so that all communities can empower themselves. Her vision for the Data Institute, Pakistan is to build a Center of excellence for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in our Region.

With about 10 years of operational and leadership experience, Waleed has orchestrated, qualified, and reviewed hundreds of initiatives within the nonprofit, government and business sectors. In and outside of Pakistan, he has devised and led fundraising campaigns, conceived green and solar energy projects and spearheaded a pilot study and the subsequent implementation of the biogas program. He also has significant experience using large data patterns, and statistical reporting to study in depth development indicators; from enterprise surveys; to global development finance; to health nutrition and population statistics.
Moreover, Waleed has consulted closely with local politicians on complex and sensitive initiatives regarding social policy and financial outreach, from aiding low-income societies across the world, to supporting female entrepreneurs, to strategies that achieve political decentralization.

Abhijit has spent over 24 years in the technology industry. His diverse background spans building a startup in India at 20, to working at multibillion dollar corporations like Microsoft & NVIDIA. He has experience in technology domains like Search, Advertising, Gaming & ERP and currently works as a Distinguished Engineer at NVIDIA. Abhijit has passion for building community and has worked with several nonprofits like Uplift a Child International, YMCA of Northshore, Art of living Seattle Chapter and Woodinville Montessori. Abhijit was born in India and currently lives with his wife and son in Washington, USA.

Travis has been a technology leader for 28 years. His background includes innovation in business strategy, nonprofit community service and leading the technology architecture of world-class engineering products. His career spans startups to global businesses, shepherding M&A activities, running turn-around businesses, and setting industry-wide vision, including Microsoft Office, Visual Studio, BingAds, Xbox, Nvidia GeForce and Shield products & cloud services. He has a special affinity in giving back to the community as a leader and board member of multiple nonprofit organizations, including his medtech health nonprofit, Benessere. Travis lives with his wife and three children in Washington, USA.

Zaka Ul Mustafa is a seasoned academician and entrepreneur. He has taught in multiple top Pakistani Universities, such as NUST and UET, for more than seventeen years. Currently, he is director of his E-commerce company, Leverify Pakistan, one of the largest selling company on Amazon. He is passionate about motivating youth to invest their energies in technology startups. Zaka is actively involved in a wide range of philanthropic activities. He is also a board member of Small Efforts Trust that enables people through educational and small-scale business initiatives
